You do don't you... I think we so used to feeling under the weather we just go with it... Hope your white cells pick up soon so you can finish with chemo 😍

Maybe you should try and stay out of work if you can and regain your energy, I couldnt work during my treatments as I would be in contact with the public and felt it was the right thing for me, But I accept we are all different and have different ideas

I don't know about coconut water but the drug neupogen was given to me when my white blood cells got too low. I might get an injection every day for 3 days, retest my blood, and then proceed with the chemo. It goes by other names as well. Good luck and kind regards, Nesie237

Hi Traces, I had two Gem/Carbo delayed a wk as white cells were down, I had to inject for 3 days after both then on day 8 Gem only I had to inject for 7 days but this last one was still delayed xx my consultant told me not to worry about it x

I was just saying that was my experience. That's the way it's done at my center. It will work for you, you'll have more time to feel better. Best of luck, Nesie 237

I'm in this position too. My last chemo is scheduled for Tuesday (yay)! But I was told my red blood count is borderline and my white count is very low. Unless it improves they won't do the chemo. More blood tests on Tuesday and we'll see. I was clueless how to improve the cell count and very grateful you posted about coconut water. I'll give it a go.

Yesterday I ate oily fish and tonight steak and spinach. I'm figuring good nutrition can't but help. I'm also going to eat chocolate! Will see if all this helps.
