Well my last chemo didn't happen. Platelets and red blood cells too low. I have a blood transfusion today. Chemo rescheduled now for 6th sept. The finishing line just keeps moving!!!!

I feel like I can't wait for this bit to be over and I'm getting there nowhere fast. Aaaaaargh!!!!!

Oh no! You will get there, you will get there, you will get there. Keep telling yourself that!

I hope the blood transfusion goes well today.

milliec, the transfusion will make you feel sooooooo much stronger. Just had 2units last week and I feel better than I've felt in months. I am now done with chemo. You will finish too!!!! Oddly, when chemo stops it feels wierd. To go from weekly treatments and bloods to now be getting bloods once every three months actually feels strange to me. I got used to the chemo routine, having done it for 9 months. Tesla

You will feel better and stronger after the blood transfusion, hope it goes ok today, you are so nearly there, I know it's frustrating, but you are nearly there. Big hugs

Hoping the transfusion gives you a big boost. I'm 11 day after last chemo and for the first time feel good today. Don't despair Mandy. You'll get there very soon xx

I know all about delays in Chemo. My platelets were always low. It can be frustrating. You just have to be patient and in the end you will get there. I also had a blood transfusion for the last one. Trust me you will get there. Xc

Thanks to all you lovely ladies for your responses. I have had my blood transfusion and feel great. Looking forward to a couple of weeks feeling good. X

I am glad you feel much better and okay the treatment is stretched and your patience is stretched as well but you will get there, take it easy over the weekend and make you rest every day. best wishes

So glad you are feeling better after your transfusion. Enjoy the respite before chemo and like Suzuki says, make sure you get some rest x
