Hi there are you managing constipation okay if not eat plenty veg and if you got movicol or anything like that which has been prescribed, take it. Other than that, ring the Ovacome nurse or contact your gp. If the pain is very bad I would suggest you go to a and e, It depends whether you are just getting spasm or pain that isnt going away. Some treatments can give you tummy ache. I was told mine pinching kind of pain was down to Gemzar, I still get it an odd time. Try not to worry but if it is constant and causing you a lot of upset get it seen to as soon as you can. Best of luck with the ct scan
I'm not constipated or anything that's why I'm worried. I been having this for few weeks now . I did spoke with the nurse she said not sure just wait and see ..
I'm quite relieved to read your post and I hope my reply helps a little. I've had digestion trouble all day and for a couple of hours was rolling around in so much pain hubby nearly dragged me to hospital. I have been drinking iced water and have pain on right side waist height and low down. I now think if you are in pain too it must be the chemo. My scan is nx week too. I may be wrong and someone else may shed some light but maybe my experience means it's normal
I been feeling not good after my last chemo and the pain started right after . I been drinking a lot of beets carrots juice and I thought probably didn't go well but this is diffrent.. I feel litbit better now that u are experiencing some of the symptoms. I like to think chemo ☺️ Let's hope for the best xo Suela
Just a thought...I reported odd feelings under the ribs...pain in my back and sides to my onc between surgery and restarting chemo. I was convinced my pleural thickening had got worse....then I realised I had been stretching a bit too far ...it really was just my weak muscles complaining! So take heart, your poor old bod has been through a lot and may just be grumbling. Do mention it to your team but try not to worry xxxxx
Please phone your cancer support nurse or Overcome if you are really worried, but I can reassure you that my Mum had terrible pain stomach during chemo and she was convinced it was the cancer. Her bowels were not upset. We never did find out the cause of the pain (can dying cancer cause pain?), but she responded well to chemo and the pain did reduce as the treatments went on.
When I was having chemo last year I had terrible stomach pain after session number two for about four days. On day five I was curled up with the pain and was convinced something was seriously wrong, I eventually vomited and after I had vomited a couple of times the pains died down and the next day I felt much better. I'm comvinced it was the xhemo upsetting my stomach x
Thank you ladies.. It feels more like muscles pain I think .i will see how I'm going to feel this week if is not going a way I will call back the doctor .. Let's have a good weekend all xo Suela
Yes try and not worry, I would take an odd paracetamol for that type of pain. I know sometimes my tummy acts up if I have brocolli and other times it doesnt, I was convinced my colonoscopy in August would suggest coeliac diseases but it was clear tg, But at that I would still worry about tummy ache.
Hi I know exactly what you're going through I got done with my chemo three and a half weeks ago I'm going through pain in my hips and my legs getting out of bed is horrific it's awful I read somewhere in my research that vitamin B6 will help I don't know I got some today I'm going to give it a try I'll keep you posted if it works sorry about your pain
I feel better now I'm taking b12 every day and it's working well . It's crazy the pain but it will get better after few weeks .. Wish you all the best Suela
