Hi. I wish your wife well and she is in my thoughts today. Take heart from the fact that there is a lot that the doctors can do with regard to follow up treatments, trials etc. My operation took place on 11th October 2007, Stage 3 OC. Still here, despite 2 recurrences, chemotherapy, 3 trial drugs (currently on Olaparib and in remission for 2 years this month). Still working full time.
I hope this information helps a little. I know how frightening it is for not only the patient but the husband /loved ones as well. I'll never forget the moment just after being told for the first time that my cancer had reoccurred, as we got back into the car and my then partner (now happily husband) turned to me and said I'm so sorry I didn't want you to see this and burst into tears..... That's the first time I really understood how he was feeling. Usually he's so very matter of fact 'you'll probably outlive me' etc.
Stay strong, your wife will need your support through the dark days but also make time to be kind to yourself so that you have the strength to support her. Make the most of every day as we do.
My prayers are will you both. Please let us know how your wife gets on today.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I know my hubby feels very alone at times. My best friend's wife has cancer and I know Dave gets a lot of comfort talking to him. Perhaps speaking to other partners may help.
Keep going; know that your support in the practical and emotional aspects of your wife living with this horrid disease are some of the most valuable life work you will ever do.
Wifes in recovery , surgery went well. Doc. Said everything looked good,no tumor, cist , now waiting on lab results to see what kind of treatment if any. Thank you ladies for caring an your prayers.

Hi. I just wanted to let you know I am going to a special Healing Mass at 3 o'clock today and I will say a prayer for your wife. As I write this I read the good news that there was no tumour and I will pray that good news of the biopsy will follow. Kindest regards 🌸🌸🌸
Prayers for you both, I often think its harder for my husband to watch what I am going through as he feels so helpless, take care and thinking of you both
