Surgeon said op went well, scrapped some of my liver but bladder/bowel not involved said seem to have 'got be a it all' but know its never going to go away. Ready for next 3 chemos starting in less than 3 weeks. Relieved op went well as I was so scared but they were brill with me (Cheltenham). Pleased my ops out the way, taking it easy but would love to go swimming soon as........thanks ladies for your support, you know who you are xxxxx

Thanks so much for letting us know how you got on. I'm so pleased it went well and you're now back home. If you had a complete debulking removing all visible evidence of the disease it's a great outcome. Take care now. Plenty of rest.

I sympathise hugely about swimming. It's the one thing I wanted to do after surgery and on chemo but I was told it's a definite no-no because of the risk of infection in a public pool. Something to look forward to as a treat when the chemo is over? xxxx Annie

So glad it all went well. Now, concentrate on following the post op rules, getting yourself strong again. Hope the chemo isn't too demanding.....so long as it does it's job, that's the main thing.

Love Wendy xx

Great to have it over, just mind yourself and maybe stick to walking for the moment because of risk of infection and it is prob too soon.

Good news! Keep up your strength and your fight! Love Wendy xxx

Back from hols, catching up with everyone's news here.... so pleased the op went well....I think this business of reactions to chemo drugs is a bit confusing... Second line, I had the rash, and increasingly severe reactions when I had the carboplatin bit, even though the first time had been fine. But it does always seem to be taxol that's blamed.... Mystery!

thanks Mac really can't believe how well the op went and how they made sure I was not in pain especially first 24 hours it was amazing. hope you had a nice holiday. I cant wait to be able to get back behind the wheel so I can get out more as is a mile of a bus route and they only run every hour in the day only as is of the beaten track where I live. Would love to go swimming but guess should not risk it with chemo coming up. Hope you had a lovely holiday x
