That's great news, Ally. I had transfusion last year, just 4 days before my son's wedding which was in Scotland. We live on the Wirral, near Liverpool! I got there, full of energy and had a terrific time. Everyone else was knackered!

Rest up, I got a couple of blood transfusions while on chemo, i felt 100 times better after the transfusion. Love Elaine x

Isn't it lovely to be home! I came out on Saturday morning - apart from anything else its the peace of no machines bleeping.

I am wobbling a bit though today - fretting about how I am feeling etc. It can be scarey on the outside.

Anyway I feel for you and hope that you will feel much more like yourself after the transfusion.

Sorry Ally, I was offline for a bit, but hope now you've had a couple of nights' sleep at home you're feeling on fighting form again. Blood is a magical thing, we take it for granted but I remember how much better I felt immediately.
