As one who accepts help very grudgingly (!) hurrah for all the dedicated family and friends whose wish is only to support and ease....what would we do without you?! Best wishes Lyndall xx
I'm glad Vivien is home, and I hope you have some peaceful and happy times ahead. I'm sure you can take care of her, but remember, caring for a loved one with a very serious illness is one of the hardest things you can do. If help is offered, accept it. Ask if there's anything either of you need. Thinking of you both. Vx
Great Vivien is home, I wish you nice times and good times. Dont forget to ask for help when you need it because you need to keep your strength up to be there for her
Having just been in this position with my husband I know it will be a very testing time for you.
It will be difficult but try and look after yourself as well, as you need to be well to look after her. Eat well, go for little walks, take all the help that's offered and try to see friends for an hour or so to switch off.
Hi Julie thanks for kind message hope your future treatments work out.Cancer is a truly tough road to go down.Seeing the life being sucked out someone you care for is heartbreaking to see.
I can only add to all the good wishes here. You sound like such a caring person and that is a huge bonus. As everyone else says look after yourself too and take time out to recharge the batteries . You will come back refreshed and have something new to talk about. I am glad she is back home and on the right medication. Home is always best . Take care
