Hi Ladies, wanted to share my good news with you as you have been so supportive after my last blog. Having just finished my 6th does of chemo (1st line) I have today had the results of my CT scan and it shows no sign of cancer at all, my CA125 blood results got mixed up so haven't got the result of that yet but the last one I had done in December was down to 38 and my onc expects it to be much lower than that now. I can't tell you how relieved I am especially as I was a stage 4 OVC, there is hope for all of us. Long may it last
Big hugs to you all and thank you for being here xx

Hi Sunny1, yes I had major surgery in July last year as I had tumors on two sides of my bowel, liver and had bowel resection and part of liver removed as well as the omentum and various other bits removed. Have you had surgery?
Hiya, I havent had my surgery yet, I have had 3 cycles of taxol/carbo and will find out tomorrow at onc appt if my surgery is booked. Im due to have hysterectomy and omentum removed (all at age 35-sucks huh). But reading your news gives me a lot of hope
Hi Kate, I also had a hysterectomy, but am a bit older than you but at 50 it still feels too young, but you are so much younger its not fair and deffo sucks!!! Good luck and let me know how you get on. xx
What wonderful news, Tess! Long may you stay healthy and well! Just concentrate now on enjoying the lovely sensations of feeling better, catch up with family and friends and, when you feel like building up your physical reserves, there are good threads on here about eating well and exercise for keeping well after cancer. The Macmillan book on exercise is good too, they've done lots of research that says whatever you can manage does you good and keeps you healthier. It's called: "Get Active, Feel Good".
Good luck Jan76, Hope it goes ok for you, my first chemo was a breeze try not to worry, I looked at it as my friend, I couldnt wait to get the chemo in my veins, how weird is that?
I see the gyne and the onc today for my mid treatment appointment to talk about the results of my ct last week-not too nervous at the moment-just want to get it over with and find out if Im in for chemo tomorro or if I have my surgery soon
