No, it was absolutely right to post. It's just that we don't want to share gynae details with the entire internet. You made an extremely good and potentially very important point. There have been rumblings about a possible connection between PID and OC but no conclusive studies in this country at least. But it might well be that women who have had PID should be monitored for OC. And there is another can of worms...

No worries I agree with Chris it was right to post and would have made an interesting discussion... I even replied but deleted it because I realised that other people other than our community could read it...and don't want my details to "be out there"

Me too, Gwyn. I replied then realised it was out in the big wide world. I sent a PM instead. I agree, we should all be aware about putting the members only button on any blogs that are specific to OC or not of general interest. I try to look for the grey band along the top to see if I can speak frankly! Otherwise I send a PM. Install think there is room for the discussion.

I was replying at the same time as you... and after I sent...I noticed your suggestion to post on "members only" so deleted my post immediately (as I sometimes forget to look for the grey bar)...I then searched the net to find if my comment was out there as I wasn't sure if once it's posted it will still be there...
