CA-125 results - 23

Thank you for all of you who replied to my earlier post and suggested a CA-125 test. I had this done yesterday and my results were 23. I am told this is normal, so much relief. I don't know where I go from here really. any thoughts? xx

That is good news, a CA125 of 35 and under is a normal result. Not too sure what to advise you to do next. Have you thought about joining ovacome the uk site as there are more members on that site so you are more likely to get a response from some one who has been in your situation. Xxx

Yes that is very good indeed well inside normal levels. However if you are still uncomfortable, ask for a ct scan. Best of luck

Great news Fuzzyrudd. The low reading should put your mind at rest. But if you are still worried, ask for a CT scan also. We can all at times worry & fret too much. So talk to a local support group or Cancer Help Line, such as available on McMillan or Irish Cancer Society. Best of luck and hopefully good health.

Thank you all for your kind replies. I'm going to ask my GP to organise a scan as I need to get an explanation about why it's happening and how to treat it, rather than just deal with symptoms. Wishing you all good health xx
