I had severe nausea on generic Fosomax and stopped after 5 weeks. The other one they recommended is Reclast, but I am worried the same will happen. It seems that most don’t have much in the way of side effects other than fatigue after the infusion. Anyone had anything more than that?
Thanks!

I can understand your concerns after having such awful side effects from Fosomax.
Bear in mind that Fosomax
and Re-Clast are executed into your system in an entirely different manners.
Re-Clast is not given orally, therefore can't effect your esophagus and stomach as Fosomax does.
I have had Re-Clast successfully on two occasions with a three year break in between and no side effects other than the sniffles which lasted a day after my first infusion.
I have found that being infused over an hour rather than the standard 15 minutes was extremely helpful. I also make sure that I drink plenty of water prior to my infusion and days after as well as throughout the year.
I would speak to the prescribing doctor and ask questions about the drug and possible side effects. Ask if this can be given to you over an hour as well.
Please reach out again and let me know what the outcome is.
