I received my first Prolia injection in early March. Two days later I started having diahhrea. It's been two months and I Still have diahhrea! I now have lots of gastrointestinal issues, etc, heart burn, acid reflux. I have had an endoscopy, which showed nothing wrong and now scheduled for a colonoscopy. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I am 60 years old, healthy in all other aspects. But now starting to loose weight due to this diahhrea and do not need to loose weight! I'm scared to death. I'm exhausted!

Prolia rare side effects of severe diahhrea
Have you reached out to get a second or third opinion from a GI doc? Via telemedicine?
Hi Cidd, very sorry to hear you are having these symptoms. Have you told the doctor who administers your Prolia injections about these symptoms? They aren't typical side effects of Prolia, but your doctor might tell you if there are tests you need to take, etc. Also, have you had a complete blood count and sed rate test in regards to your symptoms? They should do those before getting tubes involved ...
Best wishes for your health.
I have had two different stool tests, an endoscopy and next week a colonoscopy. When I asked my Dr about blood work, he said it wouldn't do any good. I've contacted him so many times throughout the Pandemic that I think I'm not being taken seriously! It's sooo frustrating! Just tells me to keep drinking lots of fluids 🙄
