Back pain helped by Pantoprazole

Hi have been having upper back pain for a few weeks. I find that if I increase my pantoprazole to 2 a day it relieves it. I have been on these for a few years for Hiatus Hernia. Wondering if this is connected or could this be back pain caused by anxiety.

Hi, I too suffer from chronic anxiety and find my upper body muscles (shoulders, jaw, stomach and chest) are tight and tense most of the time causing pain and discomfort after long periods of time. Anxiety also makes my reflux much worse. I have been on Omeprazole for many years (lowest maintenance dose, but increase for flare ups). It may be worth trying some breathing and relaxation techniques. Best of luck.
