Is burping up undigested food always GERD or can it be something else?

Taking esomeprazole for 6 days and it hasn't helped. Also get shortness of breath and foul taste in my mouth

I also can get burning throughout my entire GI. I've suffered for a long time and after clear tests just get told it's health anxiety and thrown anti-depressants at.

what’s your GI ? I’ve been on omeperazole 28 days still getting episodes of heartburn discomfort between shoulder blades , burping after food & drink 😞

What do you mean by whats my GI? Gastrointestinal?

I took Omeprazole for a month about 3months ago, despite having a good day about half way through, my symptoms didn't change much and I felt if anything, the taste in my mouth and breath got worse. I stopped for a few weeks and then tried esomeprazole. I'm 7 or 8 days in and no difference again. I actually think it's making me worse down below, more gas and more inconsistent stools.

it’s awful isn’t it …. I’m trying to stop the omeperazole so can test for H pylori have u been tested for this ? What tests have you had ? My dr hasn’t even checked me was a phone call I said stomache & chest were burning they prescribed PPIs 28 days 🤷‍♀️

Yes really awful, completely controls my life. I did a triple threat thing for h pylori about 7years ago even though they didnt test me for it. It didn't help my symptoms which i guess meant i never had h pylori in the first place. I've also had endoscopies, stool test, allergy test and spirometry come back clear.
