Lansoprazole.

I have been taking Lansoprazole for about two months. I have the most terrible diarrhoea. My stomach gurgles constantly. The noises are really loud. I have stopped taking it now. The doctor said to go back to Gaviscon. It's a shame as it worked really well for my acid reflux. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi I had the same problem couldn’t leave the house - I tried Lansoprazol because I had Rabeprazole previously, another PPI , caused the same problem! Now just take Acidex liquid that doesn’t really help the constant sore throat and chest pain. Recently had an endoscopy which identified gastritis- waiting for results of biopsy.

I was on Lansoprazole gor 5 weeks then the awful yellow water diarrhea started... stopped it for teo weeks and started back because my acid reflux was do bad dry sore throat, burping. After one day I'm back to passing water diarrhea and stomach pains. What to do

My doctor swapped me to 20mg omeprazole yesterday as 30mg Lansoprazole caused yellow watery diarrhea, couldn't leave the house...

10 hours in and I've already been to the loo half a dozen times and stomach hurts. . Not feeling great 😕. Not looking forward to tomorrow if its that diarrhea agsin😪.

Think I'd rather have thd constant sore throat.

I had a camera only down my throat to voice box ( sorry don't know procedure name) inflamed is all I got. And nasal drip.
