Morning everyone, sorry just got to have a moan....I have been up since 2,30am crying with so much pain in my shoulder, could not get comfortable at all due to the pain, I have taken as many pain killers as I dare and still in pain ;-(((. I got up so that my other half could sleep as he was getting up at 5.30 for work.
We have about 4foot of snow outside and it's still snowing !! i'm sure we would all feel better if we had some better weather, it will be weeks before I can get out of my drive even !!
I will stop now as this is hurting my shoulder, sorry again for moaning....... I hope you are all pain free today, sending gentle hugs.
Wendy xx

Hi, I feel your pain - I had the same last week in my right shoulder, the pain (and swelling) then moved day by day to each of my knuckles on my right hand and then over to my left shoulder - horrible! On top of all the pain killers I also used a deep freeze cold spray - I'm not sure if it did anything but I at least felt I was doing something to try to ease the sickening pain.
Thank you all for your replies, I have tried a freeze spray and also a hot wheat bag. It just seems that the pain is going from one shoulder to the other all the time, I know i'm not the only one in pain and I do apologise if it seems that way, just needed to moan, sorry.
Thinking of you Wendy ...just rest and hopefully a couple of days and you'll be better xx
I remember shoulder pain like this and I think you're entitled to moan - it's horrible - like having the weight of the world on you somehow. Hope something's worked and you feel better tonight. Tilda x
I'm so sorry to hear your in so much pain. Has your gp offered you amitriptyline?
I suffer with lack of sleep due to phantom limb syndrome, no feeling (sensation) to right side of my body, i can feel joint pain but I can burn, scold and cut myself and not feel it. Weird I know, amitriptyline is the only thing giving me chance to sleep.
