I have had to give up wearing heels of any description, so my blog for today is what was your favourite pair of shoes. I have two, one was a lovely crocodile platform sandals and the other pair was brown stillettoes that my mum brought me a long while ago.

So i am now throwing this out to you all as i know we are all suffering today........

Hey Sylvie, my absolute favourite pair of shoes of all time are my lovely golden (!!) ones with a small heel, wish I knew how to post a picture here, they're great but also slightly ridiculous :D But that's exactly why I love them! I used to wear them all the time even with active RA until I had to concede defeat, now it's all trainers and sensible flats :( But I really should wear heels as I'm only 5ft 4!! Christine xxx

When I was about 14 or 15 years old I got a pair of Op-Art shoes, half-black, half-white. They were the most stylish thing I'd ever seen & they were mine! I can still remember how they smelled when I got them home and opened the box. All clothes seemed to smell good back then .......

I have never gone for high shoes but I did have a good pair of black sandals with 2inch heels and when they could not be repaired I gave up but by then I had found flyflots and live in them been this last year I have had to wear shoes not clogs or sandals as knee replacment does not work well with clogs so live in loafers at the moment but dont mind as due to being on mtx find I have cold feet for the first time in years

oh i loved high heels soo much. my most fav pair are 5inch emerald green suede peep toe's. ive worn them oncein two years, and that was not a night dancing. straight in taxi to resturaunt and sat all night. just got rid of all my heels, 62 pairs!! i only wear flip flops in the house and car and a pair of velco fastening trainers. RIP HIGH HEELS!!!!

Joseph Siebel shoes - I love them. They have such soft cushioned soles, and full leather uppers that feel so comfortable, plus they come in really interesting colours and stitching detail. I also have a pair of their ankle boots that have are so easy to put on - I normally can't get ankle boots I can get over my feet, but I think the zips in these are exactly right to make it easy. In summer I really like my crocs too - but I made the mistake of buying a cheap brand once and they were hopeless - nothing like the full priced real ones for comfort. Its a completely different material they are made from.

I've had so many favourite shoes over the years, but one of my bestest are the shoes I wore for my daughter's wedding which was in 1996. I still have them boxed up in my wardrobe!!They are strappy silver and bronze 2in heels, love them to bits. Now my favourits are some soft flat black suede boots mid calf with zips so I can tuck my jeans into them. Love my sandals in summer because my painful toes are free, but miss my flip-flops.

I bought a pair of cream and tan, open toed, 3 inch heels 3yrs ago. Loved them but only worn once :-( and had to take them off walking to a friends party and walk barefoot in the street! Should have known then there was something going on with my feet lol. Flats for me now.

I used to wear a lovely high 3inch stilletto black patent closed in round toed pair of shoes they had a bar strap across the front with tiny patent button to fasten .Havent wore them since two xmases ago :( but now my favorite shoe is a flat 1/2 inch heel cream leather ballet shoe so soft and comfortable having "easi soles" and go with most things i wear, i wear alot of ballet shoes now but not the cheapo ones as they dont tend to last and can rub from rugh edges, have lots of colours and designs and they are all in fashion this summer so trendy too. lol :) only thing i dont like is i look really small in height as i'm only 5ft 2ins :) xx
