Hi sweetie! I miss everybody sooo much! Doug has cleared the pc of any interference, what is left is still the problem of getting online and opening email. Facebook works better, just very slow to react. I am guessing it may be the online connection that is bundles on my cable with the TV and the house phone. Maybe there is a loose wire. Few months ago I had a tech checking the cable and he said my wiring is old, should be re-wired. He reported it to his manager, but that is where it stopped! Nothing done.
So Monday I will try to squeeze in a call to the cable co. and see if they will come over here and check it.
This week will be a washout! Also Monday, I have to go to hospital for the Boniva injection, direct IV, for Osteoporosis. I get it every three months.
Then on Tues I have to be at hospital 8am for labwork, chest xray and then let them put a port in a vein to put the chemicals for a Stress Test, which will be done on Weds am. Weds, they told me to plan on 3 hours. So it will be Thurs. before I have a day at home.
My friend Robert has completed his project in London, just has to clear the site and get things packed, pay his engineers and the cabbie who took him around for 5 months. He insists, this is the last International project he will do. Might do some smaller jobs in the states, if he wants to. He especially wants us to spend alot more time doing things together. He's tired of being alone, and I guess I am too. But it will take some time for 2 people who have lived alone for 12 & 22 years to adapt to having someone around so frequently. He is such an honorable Frenchman, he doesn't want to move in together until we decide we can stand each other We'll see.
Am scheduled for surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder, on April 8. I wanted to write all this in a blog on the NRAS site, but can't access it right now. So I will allow you to post for me. Maybe you can copy and paste. Am anxious to know how you are, is it still snowy over there? We have not yet had a major snow, though out in Midwest it has been terrible.
Relay to Tilda, Mads, Double Helix, Allanah,Joanne, oh so many others, my thoughts and best wishes. Miss you all. One day soon I hope to get back to normal here Take good care, girl. Don't go crazy the first time the sun shines and it's warm in the garden! Love ya, Loret

Thanks so much Sylvie! Loret I miss you!!! So great to catch ur news. Sounds like you r having a busy time, I had a chemical stress test as two days after getting RA I got wired heart rhythms. I was strange if it the same as I got, you feel your heart speeding up and racing but your not exercising! The staff were amazing though and you know when your test is over a you involuntarily do a sigh, mine was more like a gasp!! Bit it got me on the right meds and I have been well since!!
Robert just sounds dreamy and I cannot see at all why he couldn't stand to move in with you!! But then there's the washing of his smelly socks mmm lol.
Good luck on the op, I suspect it will be a few month recovery?
We have had loads of snow after a really bad rainy period with loads of cliffs coming down, when ur computer is running and u get this google Whitby North Yorkshire and you will see the damage to the famous Abbey. ( I used to get up the 99steps and now I can't do a couple, so annoying)
One bit of good news I had an Nras tea party yesterday and have made over £300 ! More to come in, we had a Ball with people staying from 11 am to 7 pm! And then others staying and having a takeaway, I think i Will be in bed all day , Today ! Will put a blog up tomorrow! So hope you get the cable guy, not Jim Carey, to get u hooked up again my friend, love and hugs Axxx
wish you luck and send loads of hugs for the busy week you have. Hope everything goes well.

Hi Loret - so good to read your update. I was wondering how the man friend was working out so pleased to know that things are progressing promisingly - I would expect nothing less than an honourable man for you but he does sound like a romantic too. I don't actually know what a stress test is but reading Allanah's comment has helped a little - it must be heart related I think? Looking forward to a day soon when your cable is replaced and you can blog and reply to us all again yourself. Thanks for this Sylvi and yes well done Allanah! Tilda xx
Aw, you guys make me so blessed! Yes, Robert told me about heavy snow over there in London, when he couldn't push the door open to get out! He was sooo bored! Haha. I told him now he knows what all of us feel like most of the time! So, of course, he will come rescue me. He actually did say he intends to be here way before Surgery, April 8. frankly, I think the shoulder has recovered quite alot of movement and I'm thinking of cancelling. Maybe it is just a "Stretched " Rotator Cuff, not torn Besides, I don't want to be any more handicapped when my friend gets here. He insists he will take care of me after surgery! Assume he means serving me tea or coffee as needed, cooking meals, giving me drugs, etc
Thanks to all of you, and I will try to stay in touch, it takes about 10 mins or more to get this to do something once I click on something! Patience is the key! Everybody, sit down, put your feet up and let's have tea together Loret xxx
