I thought I was just going to discuss my occasional dry eyes and the best way to treat them and to check there wasn't any damage. Two and a half hours later I've been told to stop the Humira immediately and been referred for an emergency MRI scan of my head. The word 'worrying' was used several times. Rheumy nurse keeps ringing me to talk, and says probably no steroids for now just better pain killers. she is trying to talk to my Rheumy but he is busy.

Oh how worrying! You must be very twitchy, but hopefully whatever it is has been caught early and so will not have a long term impact. Try to keep calm, difficult I imagine, but stress isn't good for you either. Polly
You need some eye drops for your dry eyes. Hope it goes well with the hospital.xxx
Sounds worrying ? the rheumatologist must contact you. it is nor right to scare you and leave you hanging xx
Heck that's a bit scary for you - did they tell you anything about what they found that was worrying? Please let us know how things go and I'm sure Polly will be shown to be right - they will hopefully have caught whatever it is early enough to sort out for you. Tilda x
