Hello Starr and welcome!

This is really a question for your GP or pharmacist because only they can advise on potential interactions between meds, whether prescribed meds or those bought over the counter.

Really hope you get the answer you need soon.

They are both safe to use together x

I use these together with no problem. The thing to watch is taking too many different medicines that have paracetamol in them, as sometimes it's not obvious and you have to check the packets to see what's in each. Polly

You should not get a problem taking them both together. They are from different groups of pain relief. Ibuleve is an anti inflammatory drug and co-codamol is a paracetamol based drug. These two can be taken together. I am 99.9% certain about this, but I am not a doctor. If I was you I would just phone a chemist up and ask to speak to the pharmacist to be 100% certain.

As others have said, yes it would seem safe because they are different drugs. However, this is a question you should really check out with either your doctor or the pharmacist because they have the specialist knowledge to give you proper advice.
