Due to have mxt injection today, but I have a awful sore and swollen throat and cold. Should I still have injection?

I'm not sure about the injections but I was advised to still take my mtx when poorly unless I had an infection which had not cleared after a course of anti biotics. Can you call your rheumy nurse?

As you know I haven't quite managed to swop to injections yet, so am still on tablets. But I tend to carry on taking them unless really ill, ie with temperature over 100. But always best to call nurse. openly feel better soon. Polly

This is a question you should ask either your GP, rheumatology nurse or rheumatologist. Generally though, I don't think they usually say to hold off unless you actually have a raised temperature that you can't control with ordinary paracetamol, but I'm not a doctor.
