Wind and rain go away........

Evening all,well here i sit in devon and tired,boy am i tired. We went out on the moors today to see the prison and as always it is an very creepy place. We were at princeton which is a lovely place despite the prison on its doorstep. We went to the prison museum and my two thought it interesting,i went back to the car and read the papers. I found it creepy and boring. Then we went into the village and had lunch and we had a nosey round a charity shop and then a gift shop where i got a couple of gifts for my friend who is house sitting while we are away. Then on the way off the moor we called into a pixie shop!!! i know it was a little shop in the middle of nowhere. I saw some lovely hats i would have loved they were like cossacks hats,they were made with pure sheepskin,but at £40 no i wasn't tempted. What i did buy was 2 copper rings to go on my fingers. I'll give anything a go as my fingers are very swollen and sore. Overall i feel tired. We got back here at about 3.45pm and i went to sleep for nigh on an hour, i got up and had tea and i went back to bed and didn't wake up until 6.45pm. I feel a bit brighter,but hubby says my eyes are very puffy and my shoulder is so sore as well.

We are all going to shower and i think hubby and my grace are going out for a drink,i am staying put tonight as i don't feel up to goung out in that weather. It started to pour down when rain when we got to dawlish and it has been horrendous ever since. THe wind is howling round the caravan. better weather than we are having down here.

Oh what a shame I am not in my house at the moment Silvi - I would have loved to have invited you round for tea.

I hope the weather improves for you. We've had a bit of a rough time weather wise this year but it is not too bad in Totnes today. xxxxx

I'm not too far from where you are staying. I'm in a residential home on the outskirts of Totnes and not too far from my own home - it's a pleasant experience being the youngest resident!!!!
