Surgery is not for a few weeks & I just think I heard you have leave a certain time between steroid injections and general anaesthetics, I could be incorrect.

Anyone ever hear of anything to do with that?.

I can't see what problems it would cause, I've had surgery, such as joint washout and had a steroid injection at the same time. If it's not a problem done that way I can't see why you can't have an injection a week or so before surgery.

It is best to check though as the same may apply here, the surgeon having certain preferences on this.

It may be the steroid pills you have to stop for a while, before and after surgery.

Take care
