An alternative thought of life.....

If I had my time again

My 3 score years plus ten

What would I change

About myself

And those around I know

I would surround myself with friends

And not worry when things went wrong

Nor waste time when people don't share

And waltz away without a care

I'd pick and choose

What's best for me

From work to fashion

I would spend the cash

I'd laze around and would not dash

I'd stop and smell the flowers more

Before illness came and knocked my door

I cannot change my path you see

Because it's in the past for me

But today it is brand new

For you for me and everyone

So despite what you been told

Do what you want and do it now

Let those who moan and those who scold

Let them go or let them fold

Life can be short as you will see

So come out and have some fun..... with me.

Would love to meet up with you. We both share the same sense of fun. I am sure we could paint our nails and dye our hair then paint the town red.

too true!

my Mum used to quote a poem

"If I had my life to lie over... I'd stop and pick me some daisies."
