What a morning, first off my fingers are soo sore and my knee which was operated on in may is bloody sore today as well. It isn't the joint but the tissue or whatever round it causing all the problems. Am having trouble with joints all round this morning.
We needed some shopping so i wanted to feel useful i opted to go to bedworth to get what we needed. Fatal mistake!!! first of i gathered all my stuff together and went to try and open the front door and i got into a right tangle i can tell you.... Got the door open and i still couldn't get through the door, througheverything on the floor in a tantrum. You know what it is like the harder you try the worse it gets. Hubby came and picked everything up and opened the garage door and i got on my scooter to get it out of the garage and i couldn't find the key to said scooter hence another paddy until grace says the key is in the garage door. I mean what else is going to happen.
So i toddled of to bedworth to do what shopping we needed. Got to fruit shop and picked up what i needed along with some flowers. I got into a flap as i couldn't sort myself out what with a stick and shopping,i mean how difficult is it to go to checkout. Had a laugh with the girl serving me. I said i think i should have stayed in bed. Then off to tescos and i managed ok round there, but i had to ask where the photo frames as i couldn't see them. I think even they had shoved them under my nose i wouldn't have seen them. Thirty pounds poorer i came away and thought it was safer for me to go home.
This is how bad my day has been, i didn't buy any clothes in store 21 or tescos. I didn't look at all, there really must be something wrong with me!!!!!!!!
So i am home safe and sound and i am listening to new michael jackson 25th anniversary album. Sorry Allanah i am a fan of Michaels not Barry Manilow.
So you can see i am a danger to myself and anyone around me. At least you can all enjoy a good laugh at my expense and i don't mind. Hope you all have a better day than i have had so far.........

Hi Sylvi,
What a morning you've had! I had to laugh at you having a tantrum, can just imagine you throwing everything on the floor. Least you didn't give up and managed to get what you needed.
I seem to be very forgetful at the mo, an age thing I guess but it's really starting to bug me, doing some stupid things and getting all mixed up lol.
Oh well, hope your afternoon is less stressful than your morning.
Its childish i know Mary, but it relieves the tension i get when things don't go right. Memory well i am hopeless when it comes to remembering things and like you it annoys the hell out of me as well.
I will sit and be a good girl!!! Mary honest. XXXXX
Afternoon all, decided despite what is going on with my stomach and bowel. I have ventured to Cardiff to see my friend. I haven't seen her for 5 years. Disgusted with myself as it is only 3 hours away on the train. Been putting it off for too long. Almost in Cardiff now and sejjw looking forward to seeing her.
No change in my stomach condition. Need to wait on my referal being processed.
Off all my drugs at present so very stiff and sore. Paracftamol is all I can take till scope done.
Good train journey. Stops me from worrying at home. Have a good day.
Enjoy Michael Jackson Sylvia. Oops better not forget Barry m for Allanun
I am glad you had a good train journey. My father, brother and hubby have all worked on the railways and i get free passes for life due to hubby being there, it was in the days of br so we can go anywhere on our passes. Sadly our trips are few and far between due to my ra... Have a lovely time with your friend. Love sylvi.xxx
Butter fingers don't come into it when you have this disease! Unless of course that's where it originated. Toys and Prams come into mind when you mentioned Tantrums. And yes a jolly good laugh at Sylvi's expense, mind you it's with you and not about you, Sylvi. I do hope you will feel better soon.
Pity you cannot travel on the trains I would love to see your blog on that one!!
I like to hear both Michael Jackson and Barry Manilow. I don't have any absolute's, but over the years the crooners I have indulged in are: Andy Williams, Matt Monroe, Cliff Richards, Elvis, Paul MaCartney + plus Beatles, John Denver, Moody Blues. Plus the usual items and the not so usual played at all the Proms, especially love the Last Night with a good sing song. As for todays music, cannot name any of them but I listen to some of my daughters music and oh how I wish I could jump up and dance along to some of it.
I can travel but we just haven't found the time. I have too laugh or i would go mad and when everyone else is enjoying it it as well it makes my problems a little less serious. I have been on the train with my little scooter when we went to the albert hall for the festival of remembrence. We had to get a taxi across london as i couldn't use the underground.
Moody blues yes, beatles some of them. Michael jackson is my favourite, but i like a lot of different music, bob marley,zz top,all the old soul music plus i have adeles albums. Todays music is just recycled from our music and like you i can't tell you what their called or what the song is. I do like the military wives.
Oh bless you Sylvia has made me laugh reading your blog I would have a long hot bath or shower go to bed and watch tv with a tummy full of painkillers and chocolate and hope you feel better tomorrow gentle hugs xxx
Now that is a good idea as my gracie briought me some chocolate back from Crete and i could lay in bed and read a magazine as well. The things that ra do to us is so frustrating isn't it. Love sylvi.xxx
It sure is hun,I thinking of ringing rheumy. As hands, elbows etc are painful etc and my next appointment. Is in November so fed up but knee is painfree so that's a bonus lol enjoy you choccies xxx
The choccies was lovely, but i wonder if that is what is keeping me awake, apart from my fingers and the muscles or whatever round my knee are hurting so much. I am seeing rheumy at just after midday this morning so i'm hoping she will be able to do something for me. xxxxx
What you lime you wide awake too lol I just been looking at my local gym may go there later today to join up may help me sleep.and get rid of these restless limbs, glad choccies went down well xxx
Hi Sylvi, it's allowed to have tantrums! Even those OTHER PEOPLE ..... (you know, those so called 'NORMAL') people have them !
I went down to our local shop on Sunday morning and needed to ask where the tinned carrots were as I couldn't see them .... where were they? ........... right in front of where I was standing !!!! (Next to tins of frankfurter sausages ........ think my eyes and brain were deceived by rows of sausages !!!! )
My OH worked on the railway for a while as a fireman many many years ago, even before I met him. When we were coming back from our honeymoon the car was playing up so we put it on the train to get it home (Penzance to Paddington - no longer exists I dont think) and while we waited OH was talking to the chap loading the cars about having been on the railway and it turned out that they had both worked out of Ripple Lane at one time. So, we got a comparment to ourselves for the whole journey (the chap locked the platform side door so no one else could get in). Plus as the compartments were accessable via a corridor he brought us both a cup of tea !! As it was a night journey we slept best part of the journey home. Those were the days !
Oh for the the days of the the br. My dad often got called out to derailments, we had peaches, meatballs coming out of our ears. We used to go to hunstanton on the train for our weeks holiday and they were the old type carriages like you and you hubby had,i can se it now. Will blog how i got on at the hospital when i get home. Love sylvi.xxx
Oh bless you and would you believe it my day was just about the same!!!!!
I went for my Humira and rheumy appointment yesterday and even though I know I nearly always feel tired after my Humira I went to Tesco to get some bits for my sons birthday yesterday ( we did a spiderman party...he's 25 and loved it )
But got in Tesco and they are so big, managed to get into the place then bang, felt awful! A shop assistant helped me and gave me one of their loan mobility scooters so I dashed around as their scooter going at a fair pace, whilst beeping the horn regularly, just because I could!! and got the shopping.
Came home, lost the car key between the car and the house, found it in a shopping bag, got cross, went round the side garden and just let out a yell (glad the neighbours didn't hear!) But then got in the house and, as I had planned, my daughter arrived and she emptied the car and set up the birthday tea. I went to bed so early after it though and listened to.........Michael Jackson!! (you are not alone) as that was the mood i was in!!!
So going now to get results of mri scan of my spine and will be glad to know whats going on and if he can get rid of these blooming pins and needles (sympathy to Tilda too) Worst thing about it is trying to get parked, the hospital is huge!
Just got back from the hospital. They have no idea whats wrong with my finger,so i have had to have a load of blood test done to see if they can come up with an answer.
