Frying tonight ...

Today seems to be a bad one for my achy bits! I was limping around before I even left the house, but that's not too unusual. Unfortunately, due to an accident on the M6 (hopefully not a bad one), I was doing a lot of pedal-work, manoeuvring through the long jam, and my feet, hips, knees, and right ankle were agony by the time I hit work. No time to rest, though, as I was already 20 minutes late, and we had a long queue of patients waiting! My elbows were pretty sore by mid-morning, so I put tubigrip on to ease it a little, and popped some on my ankles to help with the pain in them and my feet.

Having plodded around Asda, after treating all of my patients, my legs were still painful, and my hands - already twinging due to the overuse in work - were somehow aggravated by the vibrations of pushing the trolley over tarmac, and I've put my arthritis gloves on to help. I've also resorted to solpadeine max (which is taking the edge off nicely).

But currently manning a reception desk, bandaged up like Rubbatiti! Frying tonight!

Poor you

I had a steriod injection yesterday. Trying to loose some weight, but now got the munches.

You are a typical nurse everyone else before yourself.

Sooty always the nurse,you always come last on the list. You want to get someone to get you a take away so you don't have to cook,you deserve a break after what you have done today. Now get some rest my friend before you really go over board and Make yourself worse.

Thanks all - I don't think I'm suffering too badly, listening to a lot of you guys and what you have to put up with! I think we all just refuse to let the pain beat us whenever we can, don't we?
