Hi Peeps π
I hope this finds you as well as you can be today. I have shared a lovely piece of art, which arrived in the post from my daughter; she is a very talented young lady. She lives in America now, and I miss her every day.
I haven't posted for a while, so I thought I'd drop in to say hi ππ»
New people to this forum, might feel as I did at the beginning of my journey: worried for my future health, in pain, looking for answers and feeling on my own with it all. I thinks it's important for us to post when we are feeling OK too.
This forum was, and still is very important to me. The lovely people on here are so supportive π
I am doing OK today. My RA is a bit erratic: it can bite me in my posterior when I'm least expecting it! But π€today is good! I will wrap up warm, and go for a walk. I hope that yellow thing in the sky makes an appearance π I'm so pleased that the mornings and evenings are lighter; it makes so much difference to our well-being.
Last week, I had my yearly rheumatology appointment, where we apply for funding for my Tocilizumab. My rheumatologist asked me how I feel out of 10 - I was able to say 9! My bloods were actually normal, for a change - my ALT is usually high due to MTX and Tocilizumab, but not this time π€·π»ββοΈ. To be honest, had I missed my MTX for 2 weeks, before my blood test, because I had my 2nd Shingrix vaccine - so maybe that's why. I'll take that as a win!
Try and get outside everyday, if you can to get some of that free, natural vitamin D and speak to someone who makes you smile. Share how you are feeling, and ask them how they are. Listen to their answer carefully and actively, with an open mind.
So, how are you today? π
