Not off topic (as it’s completely relevant.) The sun, warmth and positivity. 🩷

As it’s a lovely day I’m going to decline any negativity and only see the positive in the bright sunshine. That’s as I usually do tbh. Wouldn’t it be great if everyone could take on that philosophy, although do appreciate that from time to tome we can be overwhelmed with pain and issues that cloud our sun? Hoping for better times for those of us who aren’t doing so well atm.

I have decided no weekend message boarding for me again as I’m unplugging much more during the weekends. I owe it to my wonderful other half too. Catch up on PM with those I owe messages to. Have a lovely weekend all. Wishing you the sun and warmth. 🩷

I cannot believe the sun now here today. It was dull outside and miserable and I felt just as miserable 😆 the sun has come out and honestly does make a big difference to how I feel. I’m going to put some seed in the patches in the garden lawn shortly. Just a gentle stroll ..a bit of vit D to help my achy body

Have a lovely weekend ❤️

Hi NK, no sun here but I like clouds and fog too, so no problem 😅 Tomorrow it's supposed to be really sunny though - will be out on my bike again, looking forward to that! Have a lovely weekend and I'll message you back soon (so much going on 🤯), Love, Christine xxxx

I've just tried to post a pic from my walk this morning but it kept posting it sideways!! No idea why, so I deleted it, just looks stupid if it's not the right way up. Maybe I'll try again later 🙃 xx

Ah, sun is out here now. It poured down all morning then improved at about 2.30 so we went out for a walk. The little kids were out in force in their wellies and puddle suits having fun jumping in puddles. Lovely to see.

Have a great weekend NK 😊

I always believe in positivity, come rain or shine. Blue sky and sunshine definitely makes it easier though. Thank you for your lovely post.Mind over matter has been my daily mantra particularly over the last 4 years battling cancer and I'm on the winning side.

Keep the sun shining in your head andheart ❤️

The sun came in the afternoon yesterday & what a difference it makes to my mental heath. I have more energy & feel more positive & proud that I have achieved more that day but it’s a different story in the cold & rain ( like this morning). On a positive my phone tells me next week should be dry & some sunshine 🌞 too 😊 x

I was very fortunate to be taken out by a friend in her little camper van to the top of a hill with 360 degree views. We had soup and a little walk along the top of the hill (nice, flat path) and back for coffee before heading back down. It was the perfect stress-buster!

(OFF TOPIC) Sounds so lovely. A perfect escape. 🩷 You have a very thoughtful friend. Reminding me of my recent hols in a converted railway carriage on the top of a cliff overlooking the sea. Bliss. We climb to summits as far as we can in our car on Saturdays as my legs aren’t quite up to that, so the wheels take us there. I take my art things and sketch/paint too. It’s such a good thing for our health to get the lovely views and the fresh air. Stress busting as you say.

We took a flask of soup (and one of coffee) to the country park on Saturday .. usually make my own, but this time it was M&S roasted butternut squash and thyme. Delicious. Took nuts for the squirrels who live in the trees in a secluded little area of the gardens which aren’t far from the car park.

She is a very thoughtful friend. I'm lucky to know her. Her daughter latched on to mine in a toddler group and we decided to do a play date. Our daughters remained firm friends as did we. We've supported each other through lots of ups and downs.

Your clifftop holiday sounds fab...only one thing beats a hilltop and that's a clifftop!

We booked as soon as we came home to go again next year. Both hilltop and clifftop are equally fantastic! Yes, what a wonderful friendship you have there and lovely that your daughters were/are great friends too. 🩷
