I have two one is a little square one which we took on holiday and i think that came from BOOTS. The second one is a bit bigger as it can go round my back and i don't know for sure where they got it from i think it v=came from Amazon. They make my lower back a lot easier to be honest. xxx

No…..but why don’t you buy some sticky velcro & stick it on yourself….just stick where there is no wire.

Or better still you can buy a Velcro gilet with arm holes.

I have a long one that you can wrap around and fix it in place, good for lots of areas when you can’t hold it in place

I use stick on Deep Heat patches when I need one but they would be expensive to use all the time. There are a lot of rechargeable heating pads of all different sizes on Amazon.

i’ve had a heatpad for yrs. when i was 1st diagnosed with RA. (When i was 21). They said either heat or ice could help the pain. I wrapped an ice cube in a teatowel. I thought my toe was going to explode!! Awful. Then the RA spread to every single joint. My mum bought me a very good heat pad. I’ve had it about 30yrs. When i have back pain. I love laying it out on my bed. It has 3 settings. No 1 is quite good. But if i’m in severe pain. No 2 setting is great. I switch it on under my duvet. I go & make a cuppa with a few naughty biscuits. I love bourbons or custard creams!!! Get the painkillers ready. Get my tablet ready. Choose something funny. By this time. The pad’s nicely warm. Make my pillows more comfy. Get into bed. Lie right on top of the pad. Pull the duvet over me & wait for the painkillers & pad to do their job. Have a sip on my lovely cuppa & just feel warm & cosy! I always love to dunk my biccies!!) Soz i went on. Hope you find a good heatpad. X
