Heat

This heat is killing me, tired, sore, no energy, exhausted. At the Scottish Deer Centre with my daughter, her flat mate, my best friend and the two wee ones and I’ve had to go back to the car as I have hit my limit. What started as a fun day out has turned into me feeling guilty cause I don’t want to ruin their day out.

I wouldn't worry too much as you've got to put yourself first and I think they'll understand recharge your batteries and get a bit off shade xxx

Hid in my bed for a few days feeling sorry for myself. I swear if one more person says ‘I thought heat was good for arthritis’ I will do bodily harm to. 🤪

I know what you mean and another one that bugs me is when your sore and someone says oh the rain must be coming? No I'm sore come rain or shine ahahah

You did really well to consider going with the illness not under control and this blinking heat. You haven't spoilt anyones day. Have a zzz and find a cool tearoom.

I have had times like that I felt the same not wanting to ruin anything but they understood why I was like that

The diagnosis is pretty new to us and I’m still trying to get my head round it all. My daughter (she’s 31) is fab and she totally gets me and all my quirks. In fairness I’ve never been one for busy places and lots of noise but even then I would have normally just tried to stick it out.

It’s brutal, I can’t sit out in the sun for any length of time but I do usually like to have a wander around. Xx

Aw don't feel bad. I'm sure your friends and family will understand. Sorry you feel so awful. I'm in the same boat... Shall we paddle to the pub? :-D

Sorry for late reply ended up having a bit of a melt down and took to my bed. That sounds good I don’t drink but I could be tempted to start 😉

Sure they will understand and be pleased you managed to go with them instead of having to miss out. The torrential rain and thunderstorm has just hit here so hopefully it will cool down a bit now. Its quite scary, never heard thunder like this before.
