I've bought a few, but have one in particular which is really good and washes well. I throw it on in weather like this and I feel a lot more comfortable.

The bottoms of my feet burn and as to the sweating, i am sweating from the shoulders upwards as soon as i get up. My RA fingers don't want to work either. xxx

Yip, it’s no fun at all when it’s as hot as this, apart from having puffy feet, I find I’m more creaky when it’s hot. So for me it’s a cool shower, lie under a tree or in the shade with lots of cold drinks. Windows closed so as not to let the heat in, blinds and curtains closed too.

Can so relate to your poor feet. Mine were not so good before the heat and even worse now. I can barely sleep at night.

Windows, and blinds remain shut and fans on constantly. If only I had a chest freezer sleeping in that would be my preference right now. 🤣.

I know a guy who tried to sleep in a friend’s chest freezer in their utility room at a party many years ago! He had his head on a frozen leg of lamb as a pillow! We lifted him out and put him to bed. 😳 He said he didn’t do anything of sort next day. 😜

Deffinatley a 'Sue Ellen' (su welling) day here...can't get anything resembling foot ware on my feet today, so hobbling round in a pair of Minnie Mouse flimsy felt slipper things that must have been my nieces when she once stayed here years ago now and a kaftan. Looking every part the fashion model...not! Don't know what I will do on Wednesday if I can't get anything on my feet for my 1st podietry appointment since March 2020. Come hell or high water I will be there....Minnie Mouse slippers if necessary!!

Comfort over fashion any day I say. When I had a partial nail removal one Winter some years ago, I cut the toe bit out of a couple of socks and was able to get my Egyptian Mummy wrapped big toe into the sock and wear my sandals so my feet didn't get too cold. The things we do hey and having to get 'creative, such as your bed socks and sandals just to get around. I'm sure podiatrists have seen many a 'differently clad' set of feet over the years not to mention what may be lurking underneath. I take my hat off to them as I couldn't do it.

I posted this a few years ago .... still could do with some sponges under my feet but soaked in cold water. I could rinse the kitchen floor this way too after I’ve washed it! 🤣

That's one way of multi tasking NK! Just eyeing up the car wash sponges in the garage if my feet swell up any more. Think it's time to soak them in a bowl of Epsom salts see if that will help. Take care xx 🧽 🧽 👣
