Hi I was wondering what your experience of these drugs are. My Rheumy is considering putting me on them.
I was on enbrel for 17 years till it stopped working. I’ve been o. Rituximab for 18 months but it doesn’t really help and my R.a. D damage has deteriorated.
I would really appreciate your comments.
thank you.

you could try popping JAK into the search. Not sure what a JAK2 is. I love mine: Baricitinib. JAKs work in a different way to DMARDS and biologics. They are my rheumy’s drug of choice! I tried 5 other drugs (DMARDS and biologic) did nothing for me but make me feel ill.
I have been on JAK filgotinib for 3 days now and so far no side effects, and already hands and wrists seem less painful.I was on biologics for last 9 months but did not reduce inflammation for me.have heard very good reports from others on here re JAKs,so would give it a try without any hesitation.just one tablet a day instead of dreaded injections!will keep you posted.let me know how you get on.best wishes.
Is a JAK 2 inhibitor the same as a JAK do you know? I w as on Enbrel successfully for about 15 years, then it stopped working. I was then put on Adalimumab, but that didn’t work at all. I was put on a JAK inhibitor 12 months ago and it works, but not as well as I remember the Enbrel working.
I have been on various biologics, each failing after a few years, and Rituximab has worked brilliantly for me for 7 years, so if it isn’t working for you a change is probably the best way forward.
I’ve been on Rinvoq for about 3 years and the results have been near magical for me. No obvious side effects other than my feeling “almost normal” most days. 🙏
Hi, I’m on Rinvoq which I started just before Christmas. I was doing really well on it but had to stop it the beginning of February for 3 weeks as I had major hand surgery. I really noticed a difference not taking it. I recommenced it 2 weeks post op and I am. just getting back to what I was pre surgery. It is definitely the best medication that I’ve been on in the 12 years that I’ve had RA., Best of luck xx
