I'm in bad flare mode at the moment and my rheumy is changing my meds again. Stopping adalimumab injections (stopped methotrexate a while back) and they're trying me on Filgotinib Jyseleca 🤪
One good thing.. I'm on steroids for a while until things settle down 😁
Does anyone have a good experience with JAK inhibitors?
Onwards & upwards 🙌

Me! My JAK is Baricitinib. Been on it for about 3 years. Just watch out for infections as you have to stop it whilst it clears up. That’s all. No side effects for me (unless you include a bout of shingles!). Day to day it gives me between 60-80 per cent of my old self back.
I’ve had three really good years on Baricitinib ( no side effects) but, and there’s always a but, I’m being changed onto Tocilizumab next month as the efficacy of Baricitinib is waning and I’m flaring and in pain. It works for lots of people though, it’s easy to take and only has a short half life so doesn’t stay in your system very long if it doesn’t suit. I don’t tolerate anything for longer than about 3 years so I’m not the best to give advice but the Jaks seem to be the latest and maybe the top of the tree for a while. Hope you have a good result on another unpronounceable name!
