Hi guys, has anyone had there 4th vaccine at their GP’s? I got a letter saying I needed a 4th and to contact my GP if I haven’t had a letter from them. The receptionist at GP’s told me they weren’t doing covid clinics anymore and I need to find a hub when the 3 months is up on the 22nd February. I would have liked it at my GP surgery incase I have a bad reaction.
4th covid vaccine: Hi guys, has anyone had there 4th... - NRAS
4th covid vaccine
While i have pneumonia i can't have the 4th jab yet. xxx
Yes two months ago. That's in Kent might be a different Health Authority has different instructions. I don't know anything else sorry.
My Practice Nurse did my 4th injection (booster) but it was in December. It was the first I’d had there, all the others were arranged by my Surgery but at the small hospital & medical centre in the next town. It was my second Pfizer & had no reaction, but then I didn't with the AstraZenecas either. I understand your reasoning though.
Last week I had a letter (from the NHS) asking me to make an appointment with my Surgery if I hadn't already had it. Better late than never had I not already had my booster, but what a waste.
How have you been doing? Not noticed you around for a while so hope that means you've been well.
Hi nomoreheels thank you for asking. I’ve been doing well since my carpel tunnel surgeries. I’m reducing my steroids slowly and keep having the odd bad day but all in all I’m good. Hope you are you are well x
Oh good. I'm pleased that the carpal tunnel ops were successful too. What did you have in the end, endoscopic or open? Tell me you didn’t have them done at the same time!
I remember what a dreadful time it was with Amber but so pleased you have your Cavapoo. What is his name?
I'm fine, thanks for asking. x
Hi bernese. Yes, I had my fourth at the GPs a few weeks ago following a phone call from them. Lovely dog by the way.
Ha, I had a hard time trying to find where to get my booster. My rhuematologist finally started offering the first vaccine a year after I got my first vaccine.
I had my 4th vaccination in early January. I've had astra zenica x 2, Pfizer x 1 and moderna x 1 with no adverse effects to any of them.
I had my 4th vaccine at GP SURGERY before Christmas.
I have had all of mine, including 4th one at a GP Hub. I was told when booking last one that I was one of the last to get it there as they were getting it back to normal. I am sure that where ever it is you will still have the 15 minutes wait after to check that you are ok, as I did each time.
Hi, I’m getting mine on Saturday. I too had a letter but had to wait 12 weeks after my 3rd vaccine x
I have had all my covid vaccines in GP led hubs which seems to be the way they are organised here rather than in individual GP surgeries. For the first three I had to wait for 15 minutes afterwards but for the 4th I was told I could wait or I could just leave straight away if I wanted to.
I had my 4th (booster)?at my GPs about two weeks ago.
A lot of the GPs here in Northumberland stopped doing vaccination some time ago. The good news is that the NHS vaccination booking page is FINALLY set up to handle 4th jabs. I got mine at a pharmacy a few miles away.
My GP didn't do the 4th Jab, however they did help me get it booked once the 3 mths were up. It was at a newer clinic not too far away.
Had my 4th jab last week, attended the surgery the week before but could not have it then because I had my methotrexate injection that morning, said I had to wait 7 days!! That meant same day as my methotrexate again, so nurse said come in 6 days time!!...All done now...
