4th covid vacc

Sorry you are worried about this , The Drugs people recieve is how they decide who should have a 3rd vaccine followed by a booster as it is those on particular drugs who have a much lower immunity and are much more at risk . Going to a walk in clinic will not get you that 4th one as they will need proof of your eligibility. Hope this helps you to understand why .Keep well a d stay safe.

My local chemist is a walk in centre and they have told me to return on Saturday for my 4th.I did keep my letter from NHS that showed I needed a 3rd primary vaccine followed by a booster and they say that is ok.They can also look up my health records too

I didn't receive letters for my 3rd or 4th. I ended up contacting the CCG for advice and they arranged my 3rd. For my 4th I took along the proof of my 3rd to the walk in vaccine clinic when it was due and they gave me it. Some people have clearly just been missed off the list and are eligible like me. I've also not received the letter for antivirals so something somewhere is clearly amiss.

I agree but I feel as it has been such a huge campaign and all the rule changes for the role out, sadly this is happening sometimes . Very pleased to hear it was sorted out for you at least to your satisfaction its not nice when you know yourself you should have been on the extremely vulnerable list and you don't hear.

I was told 6 months but my surgery phoned to say 3 months however l am on Rituximab infusions which were due and it has to be 3 months after that making it the 6 months for me your surgery should know or the nhs app or a centre as the advice keeps changing and also your drugs can make a difference . Hooe you get it sorted out

4th jab as booster is recommended 3 months after 3rd primary dose jab. There is unfortunately some variation in different parts of the UK due to communications being unclear but this does seem to be smoothing out now thank heavens. More people are finding their GPs, Walk in Centres, are now able to give the boosters as the systems catch up with the recommendations.
