Stopping Tocilizumab after flu injection?

Could anyone pls advise me if I need to stop Tocilizumab injection after getting flu injection. I take Tocilizumab and methotrexate for RA? Many thanks

Can’t tell you re Tociliz but you may be advised to hold Mtx after your flu shot. There are articles from reputable sources who say it can blunt the efficacy of vaccines. Ask your rheumy. Good luck.

I was told by my rheumy nurse I could have tcz even the same time as flu or covid jab. Ask your rheumy team though x

I have not been told to miss my Tocilizumab just make sure that I have a flu jab.

I usually hold off all my RA meds for 2 weeks when I take any vaccination - to give my immune a fighting chance. My joint pains are horrible during this time - but well worth it in the long run.
