My latest blood results show that my ESR is elevated to the highest it's even been, my blood count is low and my liver has some abnormal activity (probably too much Bacardi). To top it all off, my blood pressure is through the roof! If I was a dog, I think I'd have been put down by now :-).
I do however feel fine x

The power of steroid jabs! But it's completely barking how little relationship there is between blood levels and how we feel isn't it. I think I'm going to ignore them from now on. But enjoy feeling good. Polly
Hi all, my advice is if your feeling fine make the most of it.
My consultant told me years ago not to read to much into blood results as they can go up for many reasons also, as we age our ESR can go up or down if there's other health issues.
My ESR is usually abnormally low, while CRP is high and BP has been high for years despite 3 medications.
If they're worried about something they'll call you in to retest.
