Hi Paula,
That's really bad news about your mum, it must be hard for you to hear her in so much pain.
Paula, What can i say that will make what your both going through any easier. One thing that will help her is the sad fact that you have been there and you are wiser about what happens. As soon as the meds kick in she will be a lot better, not cured but better. I bet you both give each other cuddles.
I am sending you both cyber hugs as you both need it at the moment.
Oh that's sad. I hate the thought of any of my friends getting this, let alone family. You may not be able to do anything to cure her, but at least you understand so hopefully can help each other. Take care of both of you. Pollyx
Poor you and your poor mum - thoughts are with you both - Tilda x
So sorry to hear that thinking of you both, you will have to help and support each other xx
Awq, that's sad Paula. But atleast she has you to refer to, lean on and confide in. You can give her more hope, knowing once the meds kick in, she will feel better. That news points to the fact, there are family tendencies. My eldest son has been hobbling around, has to stoop alot as a maintenance mechanic in a plastics plant, today I see him walking stooped, looks alot like the way I walk. I surely hope he's just overdoing it himself, working 12 hour shifts, at night, from 7 - 7.
It will help your Mum knowing you went down this road first. All the best for you both. L.
