Yes you can. I take my pred first thing in the morning and methotrexate a few hours later.

Yes , never stop prednisolone suddenly as that can be dangerous so you will follow thevinstructions you told us on tapering them off. Hope you're starting to feel better Xx

Yes, both can be taken together. I've been on MTX 12 years & prednisolone 6 years. I've never left a gap between pred & MTX, I inject it in the morning then take my other morning meds including pred.

With MTX only troublesome if I go up to 20mg, otherwise I’m ok on 17.5mg (plus folic acid 6 days), just not too hungry & graze the day away! No troubles with pred at all, but I am only on a low dose.
