Hello everyone, well my update is I have lost my first stone in weight! I am so pleased, as you know I started the keto diet in February. It is good to see the weight coming off and since I have been losing weight my RA seems to have improved a lot. I still have to take my pain killers, just not as many. I have been doing a lot off biking and walking and I can feel the benefits of this.
It has been hard on this diet, I sometimes have to cheat and have a potato, but I get right back on the diet. I am in a good place atm. I am going for a long bike ride today and am taking a picnic. Hope you all keep safe today π

This is a fantastic achievement and so chuffed for you. Well done you for sticking with it. Once I begin to taper my steroids I am going to try hard to get some weight off. I have put on some much weight through inactivity and eating the wrong things so need to get my focus back xx
This is really good to hear Carolsos, well done you. Iβm also starting out with keto & cutting out the lectins, itβs early days but already seeing good results. I can understand the odd cheat as it is difficult to initially start but once your sorted cupboard wise & organized, plus really getting your head/mind around it, hopefully it will get easier... keep it up, great your out on your bike & walking, enjoy your picnic, sounds fab, happy days xx
Thatβs brilliant well done sticking to the Keto Iβve been calorie counting since August last year, I have just started 5/2 fasting in the last two weeks. Iβm not that brave to go full Keto, does make you feel good and resets your appetite, donβt think I could do it if I was still on steroids all I could think about was food π€¦ββοΈπ€ͺ keep up the good work, great feeling seeing the number falling ππ
absolutely marvellous to hear your update and also that you feel so much better. I'm so pleased you are able to enjoy a bike ride too. enjoy many many more ππΉ
