Good morning to all of you and i wish you all a happy new year and i hope they find a cure for our ra and related diseases.
First of my brother is still in hospital and he is still in there being monitored,he had a bad night saturday night. I will ring later to find out how he is. Thank you for your kind wishes about my brother.
I had a really rough day on saturday and it seems i am having another bad day today. Both my hands are painful and sore as well as my knees. I wondered if my knees were oa,but it can't be in my right knee as it has been done in may so i can only conclude that it is ra. I did sleep fairly well,but i was still down here at 5.30am in pain. My ears are still ringing and they are very load,which gets me soo down. It does get me down as if i don't have have enough with ra/fibro. So here i am another day in pain and the weather doesn't help either. At least with my hair and nails i will look good even if i don't feel it.
I hope if any of you are going out,have a good time and stay safe,me i am at home and friends are coming round. Have a lovely new year. xxxxx

Thank you ladies, my brother is still in hospital and being a right pain in the a""e. Wanting to go home as his fish need feeding would you believe. I am not having such a good day today my hands and knees are very sore. I know the weather is bad and it should not have affected my right knee due to new knee being last may and it makes me wonder if it is ra rather than oa. I just don't know. I get a bit fed up being fine one day and then rough the next. Anyway ladies have a good night tonight. xxx

It's the flu with a chest infection, sorry to hear about your brother and that you are not coping very well. still in a rambling mode, my temp will not subside. wanted to wish you a happy new year, to you and your family. Wendy that stupid sod of my brother has gone home,would you believe that. He hasn't switched on his phone either. I couls strangle him i really could. He's 46 he should know better. My balance is a bit wonky today and i don't feel top hoo.
I could say that he is an adult and don't worry about him, but that is easier said than done, isn't it! Please try not to worry and put yourself into a flare. Can one of your family go round to where he lives to put your mind at rest?
Oh that all sounds too awful Sylvie. Hope things improve and sometimes you just have to let them make their own daft mistakes, if he gets worse again I'm sure he will call the docs who will sort him out, as you say you cant live their lives for them, even if you wish you could. and remember too much worrying isnt good for you. Hello Sylvia, I am sorry to hear about your brother I dont remember if u mentioned it when we spoke last, I am soo muddled up lately I cant remember anything, I read in your earlier post, how even though you may not feel well at least your nails and hair look good, Wish I could say the same, Have not showered in 5 weeks, had carers in daily to do PC and my nails, well dont have much and Im chewing all the skin around them and making them bleed as I cant feel them I , am really having a time of it here, I have now bloated up like a baloon and gained almost 2 stone, I have to get more Bloods done before they could put me on water tabs to lose some of this, I have completely gone to pot since you saw m last, I dint do anything New year and was alone, Life kinda crappy and lonely at moment, miss you girlie XX Lisa x
Lisa what can i say to you, you are having a hard time of it aren't you. I wish there was something i could say that would make your life a happier place,but i can't. I think you need to get hold of your gp out to see you asap.
My brother fell over in his flat and had 2 seizures then he was admitted to hospital and like the bloody idiot that he is he discharged hinself on monday and he has slept most of the week away. I have spoke to him only once, i have tried to ring him but he hasn't answered his phone.
I am back on antibiotics again,this is the second dose since christmas, this is due to sinuses being either infected or blocked i don't know which,i know i don't feel clever in my head. I am rather fed up with being ill, a lot like you are at the moment. I also have a lot of pain in my shoulders and hands and it makes me wonder if i am in a flare.
