Lump behind knee

I've noticed a lump behind my right knee and behind my left knee is generally swollen. I'm on methotrexate, diclofenac, folic acid as well as meds for other issues. Has anyone had anything similar? Thanks in advance 😀

Are there any other symptoms in your knee and lower leg?

Wee bit of pain at top of calve muscle

It probably is a Baker's Cyst but I would get your doctor to have a look as soon as you can. They are not serious and do not require treatment. This is probably a consequence of your RA not being under control.

I immediately thought Baker's Cyst but a doctor will have to confirm that.

I have had lumps behind the knee(s) off and n over the years. Mine always turned out to be Baker's cysts. Of course, if they are filled enough with fluid my rheumy (one time orthopedic dr.) drain them. Simple procedure and clears it up faster. Many times I just ride it out. I'm sure it is my Sjogren's, lowered immune system and inflammation that takes my body over at times. Stress, diet, disease all affect mine. See the dr. to be sure. Good Luck!
