Vaccine

Just had a lovely chat we my old clinic nurse.

She said they starting the process for all nhs/care staff and the vulnerable to be vaccinated.

They are coordinating a mass vaccination in our area and are asking NHS staff to work in their own time so this can happen. She has volunteered. This is going to happen very soon . Her personal opinion it will be April or June before life can have some normality.

Sounds similar to what my GP was saying when I spoke with her last week and wouldn't this feel oh so good. Here's hoping xx

Amazingly kind of people to do it but the government shouldn't be relying on the good nature of nhs staff. Poor buggers !

That's all great news. Thank goodness for our NHS heroes!

It’s good news!

When taking my girls for the flu vaccination at the beginning of November, they told us we’d receive a letter end of December time to come in for covid vaccination

Thats great news that's its happening.

But in their own time!! We can't pay nhs staff to roll out a vacine that's crippled the country and cost so many lives but we can spare 12 billion on a space force.

This is wonderful but I wonder if it will be a live vaccine?

No, they've said that the vaccines won't be live 😊

Just watched a Zoom Session on You Tube from two of the expert immunologists on The Covid 19 Zoe Study that one of the 3 vaccines is a live Virus and two are not, didn't catch which one is the live Virus though, sorry. I understand from a friend of mine who cannot have a live virus vaccine that some people with certain complaints that cannot have a live virus vaccine would be known by people's doctors and therefore would not be offered a live virus vaccine. That is just my understanding not advice on any medical issue, if any of us are concerned all we need to do is speak to our doctors.

There are three vaccines. One is live and expensive and britain havent bought too many. One is RNA changed again more expensive but one is attenuated ( not live) cheaper one by oxford uni which if passed we already have lots manufactured.

Agreed. My nurse told me that my local practice will not be doing vaccines, it will be in large sports type halls. Shame as I would be near top locally for age and shielding but one of many in the county . Well I will go when called.....
