Head injury

Has anyone been taking the medication and tramadol, or lerika, and having a bad side affect like mood swings aggressive

My father took tramadol and did have mood swings. He tries to use it sparingly

Lyrica can cause serious mood swings for some. Tramadol too but to a lesser extent than Lyrica as far as I know. May be advisable to have a word with the Gp for advice, there may be alternatives with less side effects. All the best.

Pregablin is a dangerous drug to miss with weird withdrawal symptoms as i know to my cost. xxxx

Sorry you had to go through that sylvi. And I hope I haven't given the impression in my reply that one should ever just stop Lyrica without consulting their Gp and getting a tapering down schedule as this would be very dangerous!

I was ill and forgot to take it for nigh on ten days and i can tell you the withdrawal symptoms were bad. xxxx

I can imagine! Sorry sylvi, I'm not too with it today and was getting paranoid that I had implied Simpliv55 should stop taking it but on looking at my reply I don't think so.

Sorry Simpliv55, am getting a bit paranoid, but I hope you didn't read from my reply that I was suggesting you stop either med! You must never just stop taking Lyrica without speaking with your doctor first. You would need to be advised as to how to taper down gradually if you were to, as as sylvi has said, it can be difficult, and can also be dangerous . I was on Gabapentin, a similar drug , and had to come off it very slowly.

No side effects with Tramadol, but withdrawal is a nightmare. I had restless legs every night when trying to sleep for at least a fortnight. Horrible.
