My excellent Culinare battery operated tin opener has stopped working. I've had 2 replacements since, both returned because they didn't work properly. Can anyone recommend an easy to use and reliable automatic tin opener please?

I bought 2 JML battery operated can openers. The first , unfortunately, came to grief when Himself used it. However, the second is still going strong but doesn't get heavy usage

I use the JMl one . First died when son left it soaking 🤦‍♀️ second one is doing just fine 9 months on.

I've had a Kenwood one for years which is fine but rarely gets used these days.

I have severe osteoarthritis in my hands. After having problems with an electric can opener, I bought an OXO Good Grips mechanical can opener. I can manage with that quite easily for the occasional tin that does not have a ring pull opener.

Oh no. I love my Culinare battery operated opener. I hope they sort out the problem with the new models before mine needs replacing. I love that you can just place it on top of the tin, press the bottom and leave it to do its job.

I have a Cookworks electric one. I was a bit dubious when I got it as it was a fair bit cheaper than the big name brands but it's been going for years.

Thank you, all you kind people who have sent their advice on tin openers.

I'm hoping my grandson will be able to repair my original Culinare when he's back from uni because that tin opener was wonderful but until then I need a working model.

My daughter is going to surprise me with one of your recommendations so I'm just waiting for the delivery man to call!
