Wow Pamela, was this as a result of your GP referral or the consultant? Either way, that's good it's so quick and they are obviously on the ball. Good luck with it all and please let us know how it goes. xx
In truth I did not think for a moment I would of heard last week, this is all down to my GP. I would of thought GP would of now received the letter from consultant although I have not received my copy as yet.
I have been with this GP practise for 4-5 years my previous doctors surgery closed after being with them for 34 years. I had concerns how would I be treated at a new surgery would service be good. I cannot fault the surgery which I am at, one thing springs to mind, that I developed kidney problems just over a year ago, Rheumatologist at the hospital failed to tell me kidney function until kidneys were only working 39% they tried to blame the GP for not informing me but he was not given my blood results, refereed to Nephrology to keep eye on.
Since they’ve stopped all anti inflammatory medication kidneys increased to 60% within a year. I cannot fault my GP xx
Once the correct people get on board at the hospital things get moving for the better. Hope all goes well and as they say “you are in the best place” to get some answers. 👍
