Pip reassessment!

I had my pip reassessment forms at the end of February. I sent of a detailed letter from my consultant and receipts for work we have had carried out on the house (Wetroom, handrails etc) and i finally heard back yesterday they they have given it to me for 6!!! Years with no f2f! Standard living and full mobility. The letter says they went off strength of evidence and medical records. I hope that gives hope to anyone have to go through the reassessment because it is truely a horrible experience.

Hi congratulations, I have mine this year November. Which I have already started to stress about. May I ask did they send you the forms for reassessment? Or did you have to ask yourself ? As I've looked up on line and it says conflicting things. Thank you. I wish you all the best.

They sent them to me, i ticked no change amd listed the reasons why there was no change in a few sentances. Luckily i had my consultant appointment that morning that i recieved my reassessment form so i asked him to include in his letter details of joints affected, evidence of swelling etc

There are NO f2f assessments being done for anyone ATM due to C19, but they are making telephone assessments when they feel they need more information, so well done.

Mine was sent back 5 December as my health had worsened to the point of nearly dying last year.... thankfully hear to tell the tale😁 but not a word from them😩. Such fantastic news & as you said gives us hope & no one should be put through what they do to people.

Hi that's awesome news, I had to send my how your disability affects you form bk by 7th January, was sent away 10th Dec. Still haven't had any news bk, I'm over welthed with anxiety and the fact I've been shielding since 12th March my anxiety and de has went through the roof. I don't know how much more stress my mind and body can take, I called social services that help fill out the applications for me February and he told me all face to face was cancelled not to worry so long as I'm still getting my money. He said they might just make a decision and send by mail or they might call you on the phone and do it over the phone so just hang in there. I'm so sick with worrying on top of everything else going on. Anyone in the same padicament as me and have yous heard bk. Ty in advance xx PS SO DECEMBER TILL NOVEMBER GOING ON 6 MO. XX

I would definitely call them if i hadnt heard anything after that period of time. Im based in wales and im not sure if that means its goes to a different office. 6 months is so long to wait feeling that anxious about it....

The guy from Hector mc Neil House just said there's a massive back log and they will contact me either by phone or mail. Hopefully now things starting to open up some ill hear something. But as they say no news is good news and as long as I'm still get pip at the moment it's fine in that way x
