Have a look at benefits and work, you might be better off asking there, that's their main ones who give great advice.

I received a text to say they had all necessary information. When claiming via telephone they ask you how you would like to be contacted letter, telephone, text service ect im assuming you said by letter try not to worry I'm sure it doesn't mean anything other than they have all information needed to make a decision. I know the waiting is really hard good luck ! Xx

Hi blueboy1,

Hope you get the right PIP decision for you and that the process does not take too long.

Years ago I worked at the Citizen's Advice Bureau. In the days before PIP I helped with many DLA applications and lots of appeals.

I would encourage anyone to get advice from your local CAB or similar organisation when applying for a disability benefit. We used to warn clients that it was often necessary to appeal the initial decision, even in those days. So if you are not successful do appeal the decision. If your appeal is successful your benefit should be backdated. I appreciate this is not what you really want to hear right now., but I hope it helps you and others in the longer term.

Best of luck.
