Hi all had my pip forms and should of been back for the 12/2/2017. I phoned and asked for extra time, and they said i could have till the 26/2/2017. Just had letter today saying i need to return my forms for the 12th. So they are not giving me the extra time.
Any one else had this happen. xx

No, I had mine back in time but only just. I wonder if the left hand doesn't know what the right one's doing. Best give them a call on Monday & check. Is there a particular reason you can't have them back to them by the 12th, that still gives you a week.
I asked as my daughter has had a bad pregnancy and wanted me with her, but she is 200 miles away. i am not fit to be rushing back and 2 so asked if i could have a bit longer. They said i had till the 26th. now rushing to get them back. We are still waiting for baby, but don't know how long it is after the forms go back they send for a face to face. So today got the letter saying 26th.
Oh I'm sorry, that must be a worry. I hope things ease for her & all's well when the baby comes. I'd definitely call so you know whether you do have til the 26th or not. It does seem odd though that they sent a letter giving you your cut-off date, I don't think they don't normally do that, thinking along the lines of an automatic letter not being intervened & replaced with one with the extension date? The only contact from them before my face to face was a text saying they'd received my form. It seems that they may be revoking what you've been told verbally so best get it clarified. I take it you meant to say you got a letter saying the 12th?
I returned my form in August 2014 & received confirmation on 4th December of my face to face on the 18th. It has eased up some since then, I've read they come through more quickly than those who had them back then by Atos.
They normally have a deadline that the forms need to be back to. Extensions are normally possible with a reason usually that you are awaiting assistance to complete your form from someone such a as the CAB. I would call to check it's probably an admin screw up.
