Pain in armpit

Hi all, I have a stabbing pain under my right armpit! It started about 3 days ago. I cannot feel anything there, no swelling, no lumps. Pain killers don't seem to touch it. Any ideas guys?

Is it maybe nerve type pain.? Can you call your doctor. I haven't personally had this type of pain. If it is shoulder pain I get mine in my shoulder and collar bone , not underneath x feel for you x

I had that at some stage last year while i was waiting for the meds to work. It lasted about a week and moved over to the other one. Then disappeared...........sending love ......

Hi Carolsos. Just found this below for you on verywellhealth.com. Even so, make sure you run it past your GP or rheumy doctor just to be on the safe side.

Pain in the armpit may be accompanied by swollen lymph nodes, though early on there may not be any obvious lumps or swelling. ... Autoimmune disease: Conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus may lead to enlarged painful lymph nodes in the armpit.13 Sep 2018

I also have this pain , it is from your shoulder. Strange as it may seem lol.

I had X-ray guided cortisone shots. It has been five years and I am now considering a repeat.
